Our roof inspection process.

Here’s how a free inspection turns into clear answers—and a plan only if you need one.

Thorough Inspection

We inspect the roof, flashing, vents, valleys, and other common trouble spots to see what is worn, damaged, or still doing its job.

Clear Answers

We show you what needs attention, what can wait, and whether your roof needs repair, replacement, or no work at all.

Insurance-Ready Estimate

When work is needed, we provide a clear estimate that can be used for planning, repairs, or an insurance claim.

What we inspect on your roof.

A roof inspection should look beyond the surface. Terry checks the visible roofing system for signs of wear, storm damage, leaks, and weak areas that could lead to bigger problems. We perform a thorough evaluation of your roofing system, including:

  • Missing, lifted, or damaged shingles
  • Hail and wind damage
  • Flashing around vents, chimneys, and valleys
  • Soft decking or structural concerns
  • Ventilation issues
  • Signs of leaks or moisture intrusion

If your roof still has life left in it, we’ll tell you that too.

Roof inspection questions.

What to know before scheduling a roof inspection.

How long does a roof inspection take?

Most roof inspections do not take long. The exact time depends on the size of the roof, how easy it is to access, and whether there are signs of damage that need a closer look.

Do I have to be home for the inspection?

It helps, but it is not always required. If the roof is accessible and Terry can reach the areas that need to be checked, the inspection can often be done without disrupting your day.

Can you inspect my roof for leaks?

Yes. If you have a leak or water stain, Terry can inspect the roof to help find the likely source and explain what needs to be repaired.

How do I know if I need a roof inspection?

If you see missing shingles, leaks, stains on the ceiling, storm damage, loose flashing, or heavy wear, it is worth having the roof checked. You should also schedule an inspection after strong wind or hail, even if the damage is not obvious from the ground.

What does a roof inspection include?

A roof inspection checks the visible condition of the shingles, flashing, vents, valleys, roof edges, soft spots, signs of leaks, storm damage, and other problem areas. The goal is to find out whether the roof needs repair, replacement, or no major work at all

Do I need a roof inspection after a storm?

Yes, especially after hail, heavy wind, or fallen branches. Some storm damage is easy to miss, but it can lead to leaks later if it is not found early

Can a roof inspection help with an insurance claim

Yes. If storm damage is found, an inspection can help document the problem and give you the information you need before speaking with your insurance company

Will I get an estimate after the inspection?

Yes. If repair or replacement is needed, Terry can explain what he found and provide a straightforward estimate for the work.

From inspection to completion.

Terry inspects every roof himself, stays in direct communication throughout the job,
and performs a final roof inspection before the work is complete.
